On August 14th, JYP Entertainment posted a notice on ITZY's official website and SNS account saying, "The company is currently working with a professional law firm to secure evidence through an internal and external monitoring system for all acts of defaming and insulting artists, such as malicious slander, dissemination of false information, sexual harassment, and production of illegal filming/false works."
The agency added, "Once again, I would like to remind you that we will continue to take strong civil and criminal measures against the overall actions that undermine the artist personally and hinder healthy activities, and there is no leniency or agreement in the process."
In addition, they urged fans to help with reporting illegal activities, saying, "If you have any evidence related to illegal activities, please actively report it. We will do our best not to cause any harm to not only the artist but also to all the fans who love ITZY."
