On May 6th, aespa released the teaser for their upcoming song "Spicy" which would be released on May 8th at 6 PM KST.

Korean netizens were especially supportive that aespa will be releasing another song like their song "Life's Too Short" and expressed their excitement over the release of the new song.

Meanwhile, despite their excitement, they can't help but think that the song sounds more like a song that their fellow SM Entertainment group "Red Velvet" would release.
