A music video for the group ENHYPEN's new song "Sweet Venom" has been released.
ENHYPEN posted the music video for their fifth mini album "Sweet Venom" on the official channel of HYBE Labels at 2 p.m. on November 17 (Korean time).
The music video added novelty with a unique composition that we are not used to seeing in existing K-pop music videos, such as utilizing the Mannequin Challenge, which shoots figures standing still like mannequins.
The music video begins with an image of ENHYPEN in an alley filled with colorful sign lights. The video that metaphorically represents the boy's permanence through the appearance of ENHYPEN trapped in a space where time has stopped is interesting and visually entertaining with a unique visual beauty in which only the members move in a space where everything has stopped.
ENHYPEN reverses the atmosphere with dynamic choreography in the group dance scene, and the unique sharp group dance and elegant dance line doubles the rhythmic atmosphere of the song. Unlike the previous dark and strong atmosphere performances, they proved the formula of "ENHYPEN=Performance" once again by expressing the song more sensibly with a subtle sexy performance and addictive choreography of the chorus.
"Sweet Venom" is a groovy baseline-based funk and pop genre that tells the story of determining to endure by "you" even if the poison spreads throughout the body. It is interesting to note that "you're" poison is sweet and expresses the boy's heart in a playful and rhythmic way that makes us realize that we are alive. Member Jay participated in the lyrics, creating a song with a darker color of ENHYPEN.
ENHYPEN will begin its music broadcasting activities in earnest on the 17th, starting with an appearance on KBS 2TV's "Music Bank."
