TXT Breaks Own Record in First-Day Sales with "The Name Chapter: Freefall"

On October 14th, according to Hanteo Chart, boy group TXT's third full-length album, "The Name Chapter: FREEFALL," sold a total of 1,927,363 copies on the day of its release (13th), on the verge of achieving its second consecutive "double million seller."

This is a new record for TXT, whose fifth mini album "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION" surpassed 1,868,919 sales on the first day of its release back in January. This is a figure that has grown more than 20 times compared to the 2nd full-length album ‘Chapter of Chaos: FREEZE (94,276 copies)’ released in May 2021.

"The Name Chapter: FREEFALL" took the top spot on the Hanteo Chart's 'Daily Physical Album Chart' on the 13th, giving a green light for its success. Moreover, as of 9 a.m. on the 14th, this album ranked No. 1 on iTunes' Top Album in 17 countries/regions, including India, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and Turkey. The title song "Chasing That Feeling" topped the "Worldwide iTunes Song" and "European iTunes Song" and topped the iTunes "Top Song" chart in 19 countries/regions, including Brazil, Singapore, Portugal, and Vietnam.

The music video for "Chasing That Feeling" also exceeded 10 million views on YouTube in 16 hours and 20 minutes after its release. It has been in the category of video that has risen in popularity in many countries and regions. In the United States and Canada, it ranked second, proving the popularity of TXT in North America.


Meanwhile, TOMORROW X TOGETHER will hold a comeback showcase at Kyung Hee University Peace Center in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul at 4 p.m. on the 14th.
