“How Old Are You?” – (G)I-DLE’s Behavior in Public Spaces Drew Negative Reactions From Korean Netizens

In a forum post on a local Korean community site on September 25th, a Korean netizen called out (G)I-DLE's behavior in public spaces.

Aside from the safety issues that Korean netizens pointed out as they watched two members of the group riding an electric scooter, they also called out the group for not acting their age.

In addition, a member of the group was spotted riding her luggage on a working escalator and stumbled backward. This act of the group led to Korean netizens asking them to fix their behavior as they have young fans watching them.

Netizens commented:

• (G)I-DLE always shrug off any controversy and move on.
• It doesn't matter if they are the only ones getting hurt, but that's not the case... It's true that it's a nuisance and needs to be fixed.
• I like them, but I too was a bit shocked by the electric scooter and when I saw that they liked it because it was cute, I wondered if I was strange... It seems true that the fandom is strange. The division until Tomboy was so bad that I just got tired of it. I wish they would be more careful since they are in the middle of a concert.
• They need to fix this, they can't get hurt.
• How old are you to ride a scooter with two people? Not riding a scooter like that is at the level of a safety rule taught to elementary school students these days. If you are a public figure, you should act properly.
• That's the case with the luggage, but the electric scooter looks stupid.
• Leave it alone lol. If you get hurt while riding the scooter, it’s a fracture.
