(G)I-DLE's Yuqi To Make Solo Debut With "YUQ1"

Yuqi, a Chinese member of the group (G)I-DLE, will also perform solo activities six years after her debut.

According to his agency Cube Entertainment on the 2nd, Yuqi will release her first mini-album "YUQ1" on the music platform at 6 p.m. on the 23rd. The new album release schedule, which was first introduced on the day, included images depicting rabbits.

Yuqi, who has husky mid and low notes, went back and forth between vocals and rapping. She has expanded her spectrum including OSTs for dramas and appearances on various TV programs. She also has production capabilities. She has been on the list of songs included in (G)I-DLE's albums such as "i'M THE TREND," "LOST," "Giant" and "LIAR."

Fans are expecting this album to be a very personal one.

Starting with the release of contents related to the selection song "Could It Be" on Thursday, Yuqi will hold various promotions. It will be released offline on July 24.
