Group MAMAMOO's Solar is back with a solo album.
Solar released her second mini-album "Colors" at 6 p.m. on the 30th and released the title track "But I" and music video.
"Colors" is a solo album released about two years and a month after Solar's first mini-album, "Yong: Face," released in March 2022.
It is also her first song without choreography!
Solar: This is my first time performing a title song without any choreography, eventhough it might seem easier but there are areas where I find it difficult as well. I have to fill in the gaps myself without any choreographies.

"Colors" is an album that expresses different genres of music, including house, rock, pop ballad, R&B, folk, and blues, with Solar's colorful colors. Solar's eight-tone charm and unlimited musical spectrum stand out because the colors and genres each track symbolizes are different.
The title song, "But I," is a combination of R&B and rock genres, creating an addictive song that freely crosses sorrow and exhilaration. It brings catharsis to listeners with a song about revenge on those who hurt me.
In particular, Solar participated in the lyrics of "But I" and drew attention.
The music video that was released together was filmed in Mongolia. Solar is seen wearing a red dress in a vast desert, playing the piano and running on a white horse on a meadow. Notably, breaking the piano with a hammer and singing with rock band vocals attracts attention.
Expectations are high for Solar, who returned to her dark-colored solo album to mark the 10th anniversary of her debut.
