On July 12th, SEVENTEEN announced that Jeonghan would be the first member of the group to enlist in the military, marking a significant moment for the group and their fans.

Initially, rumors circulated that S.Coups would be enlisting alongside Jeonghan. However, due to S.Coups' recent knee injury and subsequent exemption from military service, another rumor then emerged.

Speculation then arose that Wonwoo, who recently debuted as part of a subunit with Jeonghan, might enlist alongside him.

However, it was soon clarified that Jeonghan would be enlisting alone. His label confirmed that he would not be able to participate in SEVENTEEN's upcoming 12th mini album promotions or their world tour, which is set to begin in October this year.

Although the specific date of Jeonghan's enlistment has not been disclosed, it is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of this year, following his scheduled performance at "Lollapalooza Berlin" in September.
