Everglow released a music video teaser for its fifth single "ZOMBIE" on its official SNS on the 3rd and 4th.
The first teaser video contained the highlights of the music video. The video began intensely with red blood splashing on the cell phone's screen, and Everglow, who was lying in the hospital room, woke up as a zombie. In particular, the members couldn't take their phones off their hands as if they were waiting for someone to hear from them, and the video ended with Sihyun crying, raising questions.
A video clip of Sihyun's English interview was released, drawing attention. "Our Earth is a small point in space. They misunderstand each other, fight a lot, and have a deep grudge," Sihyun said in the video. "It's like trying to hold onto a love that's already gone." She ended the interview with a high-toned laugh, and later doubled the chilling atmosphere with dreamy music.
The title song "ZOMBIE" is a collaboration with The Stereotypes, a producer of global pop artists such as Bruno Mars, Silk Sonic, Neyo, and Justin Bieber. With the main keywords "Love" and "Hate," Everglow has completed a sad love song with a clear identity.
With all the unconventional music video teasers being released and receiving enthusiastic responses, expectations are high on what fascinating narratives Everglow will capture global fans.
Everglow's fifth single "ZOMBIE" will be released on various online music sites at 6 p.m. on the 10th.
