Fans Impressed With Sandara Park’s Vocals on ‘2 Proud’

Apl.de.Ap shared on his Twitter account how this collaboration came to be, “[Sandara Park] and I have wanted to work together for years. We had been kicking around songs that could possibly work, and wouldn’t you know, during the pandemic we finally got the track. I love it and I hope you do too.”

Apl.de.Ap is a Filipino-American rapper, singer, and producer, and also one of the founding members of the Black Eyed Peas.

Meanwhile, Dara is an honorary Filipina. Before she became Dara of 2NE1, she was an actress and recording artist in the Philippines. Her family moved to the Philippines in 1994. In the mid-2000’s, she joined a talent search and won second place, which jumpstarted her career as a celebrity in the country. To this day, Dara remains fluent in the Filipino language and would regularly visit the Philippines.
