TXT's Yeonjun To Make Solo Debut

TXT's Yeonjun will perform a solo song.

An official from Big Hit Music said in a phone call with Dispatch on the 6th, "Yeonjun is preparing to release a solo song."

However, they declined to comment on the details. "We will officially announce the specific schedule such as the release date later," they said, asking for his understanding.

Yeonjun has become the first soloist of TXT. He plans to appeal to his taste with his sweet vocals.

He is considered one of the all-rounder members. Yeonjun combines unique dance skills, high-quality vocals, and rap skills and he also has participated in writing lyrics and composing.

TXT was also recently nominated for the "MTV Video Music Awards" in the U.S. It was nominated for the "Best K-Pop" and "Best Group" categories, so the group is aiming to win back-to-back awards. They won the Push Performance of the Year award last year. The ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. on the upcoming 12th (Korea Standard Time).

Meanwhile, TXT is in the middle of its third world tour, ACT: PROMISE. TXT will meet with fans in Singapore on July 7, Fukuoka in Japan from April 14 to 15, Jakarta in Indonesia on April 2, and Taipei in Taiwan from May 5 to 6.
