Introduction

UNIZ (유니즈) was a five-member girl group under C2K Entertainment that debuted on November 20, 2015, with their first and only single album, REPLAY.

The group was formed after several failed attempts to revive KIROTS, a previous girl group that disbanded in 2008-2009. In 2014, a reunion of KIROTS was planned with two new members (Coco and Miyeon) and a former member (Heejung), but it was cancelled when Coco and Miyeon left. Later that year, another re-debut project was launched with four KIROTS members: Hoyeon (formerly Songa), Jaeeun (formerly Jeany), Yumi (formerly Sohee), and Heejung (formerly Aini).

However, this project was also scrapped when Hoyeon departed before the debut. In 2015, the remaining three members were joined by a recruit, Rena, and debuted as UNIZ. Shortly after their debut, a fifth member, Hari, was added to the line-up.

The group ultimately disbanded in 2016.
