Harisu

Introduction

Harisu is a South Korean singer, actress, and model. She is most well known for being transgender and being the second person to legally change their sex in South Korea.

She made her first television debut in 1991, when she was still presenting as a male, as a supporting role in a high school TV drama series.

In 2001 she received attention for a commercial with DoDo cosmetics, where the commercial highlighted her Adam's apple. After this, she appeared in Turbo's music video, as well as in Yellow Hair 2 playing a trans character. In late 2001 she published her autobiography titled 'Eve from Adam' and made her debut as a soloist with 'Temptation'.

She is currently the CEO of a pet food company as well as a model and actor.
