Introduction
SM Classics (SM 클래식스) is a South Korean classical record label under SM Entertainment. On June 10, 2020, SM Entertainment announced that they had signed an memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra for expansion and development of cultural content through collaboration between the K-Pop and K-Classical genres. Their first project is to release a newly-arranged, orchestra version of an SM-released song in July through SM STATION. In the future, a classical sub-label called "SM Classic" will be established to showcase a variety of content convergence that extends to the classical genre. On July 17, 2020, "Red Flavor (Orchestra Ver.)" was released as their first collaboration.
