Introduction

ZEROBASEONE (Korean: 제로베이스원; Japanese: ゼロベースワン), shortened as ZB1, is a 9-member project boy group formed through the hit survival show Boys Planet. They made their official debut on July 10, 2023, with the mini album "YOUTH IN THE SHADE." The group will be active for 2 years and 6 months.

The group's name, ZB1, refers to each member's brilliant beginning, which starts at zero and ends at one and implies the members' commitment to share with their fans a journey that has just begun, from zero to one.

The official motto of the group is: “D1, Be the ONE! Hello, we are ZEROBASEONE!“

On April 24, WAKEONE stated that ZEROBASEONE was beginning preparations for a mid-year debut.

The group's album "Youth in the Shade" recorded 1.08 million pre-orders, making them the first-ever boy group to become a million-seller before debut.
