Boys Planet

Boys Planet (보이즈 플래닛) is a South Korean reality survival show by Mnet. It is the male version of the 2021 hit "Girls Planet 999." It started airing on February 2, 2023 and ended on April 20, 2023. By the end of Boys Planet, the group ZB1 was created.

In the show, contestants came from different countries and were divided into two groups—Korean and Global. Unlike most audition programs, "Boys Planet" employed a space theme, wherein each of the two groups represented a 'planet.' These planets collided until one 'world' was born. 

In addition to the two 'Planets,' there is a 'Master Council' made up of seven masters who will mentor and assess the contestants for their vocal, rap, and dance skills. The show will also bring 'Star Masters," experienced celebrities who will give advice and mentor trainees for each mission.

Outside the 'Master Council' are the fans and audience, also known as the 'Star Creators. They determine the ranks of each contestant and, ultimately, the outcome of Boys Planet.
