Introduction

Hui (후이) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and composer under Cube Entertainment. He is the leader of the boy group PENTAGON and project trot group Super Five, and a former member of the co-ed group Triple H.

Hui debuted as the leader of PENTAGON on October 10, 2016, with the mini album "PENTAGON". He debuted as a member of the co-ed group Triple H on May 1 with the EP 199X and title track "365 Fresh" with Hyuna and Dawn. He is best known for composing songs "Never" (Nation's Son), "Energetic" (Wanna One), "Shine" and "Naughty Boy" (Pentagon).

Hui enlisted in the military on February 18, 2021, and was discharged on November 17, 2022. In December 2022, Hui was revealed to be one of the participants of the 2023 survival show "Boys Planet."

On December 21, it was announced that Hui would be making his debut on January 16, 2024, with his first mini album, Whu Is Me: Complex.

On August 2, 2018, CUBE Entertainment confirmed that Hui and (G)I-DLE‘s Soojin used to date but they’ve broken up.

Back when they were still trainees under JYP Entertainment, Hui got into a fight with GOT7's Mark. B.A.P's Youngjae and GOT7's JB tried to resolve the situation but ended up getting involved in the fight. DAY6's Young K served as the translator the entire time since Mark couldn't speak Korean well.

Hui composed the title track "Like This" on "DEMO_01".

Hui ranked first place at JYP Entertainment's 2010 Auditions.
