Bang Ye Dam (방예담) is a South Korean singer-songwriter under GF Entertainment. He is a former member of the boy group TREASURE. Prior to this, he gained fame as the runner-up of the show “Kpop Star.”
He was among the most sought-after idol trainees due to his vocals, particularly his performances in YG survival shows. His performances often went viral both domestically and internationally.
On June 5, 2020, he made his solo debut with the digital single, "Wayo". He also debuted as a member of TREASURE on August 7, 2020, with the single album, “The First Step: Chapter One”.
He parted ways with YG Entertainment and the group on November 8, 2022. He then joined GF Entertainment and continued his career as a solo artist.
On December 8th, 2023, Bang Yedam announced his new fandom name, "BY:D". The name represents the idea of being together with Bang Yedam in the future, expressing the idea of being by his side as his most precious existence.
