Introduction

Kim Taeyeon is a South Korean singer-songwriter, composer, and voice actress under SM Entertainment. She is best known as the oldest, the leader, and the main vocalist of the girl group Girls' Generation.

Taeyeon had been a trainee at SM Entertainment's Starlight Academy during her middle school years before debuting as a member of the agency's girl group Girls' Generation in 2007. Since then, she has risen to prominence as SNSD has become one of the most acclaimed acts in South Korea.
