Introduction

Park Jihyo is a South Korean singer-songwriter, dancer, composer, and model under JYP Entertainment. She is best known as the leader and main vocalist of the sensational girl group TWICE.

She joined JYP Entertainment in 2005 after winning second place in a child role on Junior Naver when she was in third grade. She trained for over 10 years before debuting as a member of TWICE in 2015 through the survival show SIXTEEN. She ranked 5th place on the show.

She also debuted as a composer on TWICE’s album “Formula of Love”.

On August 18, 2023, she made her solo debut with her 1st mini album “ZONE”.

When Jihyo was little her mom caught her trying to pee standing up together with the other boys in her neighborhood.

Jihyo's real name is actually Jisoo (Park Jisoo), but she didn't get it legally changed until after sixteen. As a result, early on in their career Nayeon and Jeongyeon (who trained with Jihyo the longest) would occasionally call her Jisoo still.

Jihyo has a pineapple allergy, if she eats it, her throat gets itchy.
