Actress IU is coming back to the small screen!
On August 26th, Korean media outlets reported that singer-actress IU had been selected as the female lead in Im Sang Chun and Director Kim Won Seok's new drama.
Im Sang Chun is known for being the writer of "Fight for My Way" and the award-winning drama "When the Camellia Blooms." Meanwhile, Kim Won Seok directed "My Mister," "Signal," and "Misaeng." Both IU and Director Kim Won Seok worked together in the drama "My Mister."
With IU's outstanding acting, Im Sang Chun's heartfelt storytelling, and Kim Won Seok's powerful directing, expectations for the drama are high.
IU's last drama was back in 2019 when she played the role of Jang Man Wol in the drama "Hotel Del Luna" alongside Actor Yeo Jin Goo. Meanwhile, she made her movie comeback earlier this year for the internationally recognized film "Broker."
