Big Hit Music Pleads to Fans and Reporters Not to Come During Jin's Enlistment

When Korean media outlets revealed Jin's enlistment details against his wishes, the idol took to Weverse to plead fans not to come during his enlistment for the safety of everyone. Besides not having an official event, Jin also pointed out that there will be many people at the training center, so it will be crowded. In addition, there are many families who will be sending off their relatives to the military, and there are also soldiers who are working at the site.

On December 12th, Big Hit Music reiterated the sentiment, pleading to fans and reporters not to come at the training center. The agency said, "Jin will enlist as an active duty soldier in the Army to fulfill his military service obligations. As previously announced, there will be no separate official event on the day of his enlistment in the boot camp."

"It is expected that the site will be very crowded due to the enlisted soldiers and their families on the day. Therefore, we ask that the media officials and fans refrain from visiting the site. Jin will enter the grounds of the boot camp in a vehicle, without a separate greeting for the media or fans. We ask for your understanding that there is no separate waiting area for reporters and fans due to the nature of the venue," the agency added.

Jin will be enlisting tomorrow, December 13th, at a recruit training center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do. He will undergo five weeks of training, and then be deployed to a front-line unit.
