According to Japanese music site Oricon, TWICE unit MISAMO's album "Masterpiece" debuted at No. 1 on the 'Oricon Weekly Album Ranking.'
MISAMO recorded the highest sales by female artist in 2023 after "Masterpiece" sold over 155,000 album points in just the first week after its release. Previously, NiziU, a joint girl group of JYP Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment, reigned first place with 142,000 points.
Since "Masterpiece" was released on July 25th, it ranked first in the 'Oricon Daily Album Ranking.' It then remained at the top of the chart for about seven days.
MISAMO also proved its worldwide popularity by topping the iTunes album charts in 22 regions overseas, including Singapore, Turkey, and Japan, and ranking first on the World Wise iTunes album chart on the 25th and 26th.
