On December 16th, Cube Entertainment announced the suspension of (G)I-DLE Shuhua's activities after being diagnosed with Type A Influenza. The agency said through an official statement, "In the early morning of today (the 15th), member Shuhua visited the emergency room with mild fever and cold symptoms, and was diagnosed with type A influenza. Currently, Shuhua has suspended all scheduled schedules based on medical advice and is taking sufficient rest and rest."
Following this, Cube Entertainment notified fans regarding the cancellation of (G)I-DLE's pre-recording schedule for KBS2's 2023 Music Bank Global Festival. "Because the disease is a dangerous and contagious disease, we have inevitably decided to cancel the KBS2 group stage pre-recording scheduled for today for the safety of artists and fans. Please understand that the notice has been delayed due to an accurate understanding and organization of the situation."
This statement comes just a day after the announcement of (G)I-DLE Minnie's suspension of scheduled activities due to poor health condition. "Minnie recently visited the hospital due to continued poor health, and according to the medical staff's opinion, she has suspended all scheduled schedules and is taking a rest," adding, "Resumption of activities will be made based on the recovery of the artist’s condition."
