"Thanks to ONCE, We Dream About Our 30th Anniversary" TWICE Wraps Up 8th Anniversary Fanmeeting

"Thanks to ONCE, We Dream About Our 30th Anniversary" TWICE Wraps Up 8th Anniversary Fanmeeting

Girl group TWICE, which celebrated its 8th anniversary, did not hide its love for its fans.

Twice held a solo fan meeting "2023 TWICE FAN MEETING" at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, on the 21st and met with fans.

In particular, in the last episode of the day, online paid live broadcasts were simultaneously conducted on the Beyond LIVE platform, sharing a meaningful moment with global fans.

In several teaser contents released prior to the fan meeting, TWICE members showed a retro concept in the 90s, raising fans' expectations.

The members, who appeared in large-sized sweatshirts and jeans, perfectly pulled off nine-colored Y2K styling, including headscarves, tinted sunglasses, and ring earrings, drawing cheers. In addition, they caused laughter by saying their first greetings like a character using a Seoul dialect on the screen of a broadcast interview in the 1990s.

As the first song of the 8th anniversary fan meeting, the audience was thrilled when the song "I'm Gonna Be a Star" performed on Mnet's audition survival program "Sixteen," which selected the TWICE members. TWICE then shared memories with fans with a parade of representative songs such as "Talk that Talk," "MOONLIGHT SUNRISE," "BDZ," "YES or YES," and "CHEER UP."

The highlight of this fan meeting was TWICE's special cover performance. Sana, Mina, and Chaeyoung showed off their innocent and sentimental charm by singing Fin.K.L's "Eternal Love," while Jeongyeon, Dahyun, and Tzuyu danced the hammer dance and car racer dance of H.O.T.'s "Candy," further heating up their fan sentiment. Nayeon, Momo, and Jihyo also performed intensely with Lee Hyo-ri's "Ten Minutes."

Through the 8th anniversary fan meeting, TWICE said, "We still feel like rookies, but we can't believe it's already the 8th anniversary," adding, "Thanks to the fans who see any aspect cute and lovely, we can dream of TWICE's 20th and 30th anniversary performances. We will work harder to achieve that dream," they said.

Meanwhile, TWICE has launched and is active in the large-scale world tour "TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR "READY TO BE" in 25 cities around the world. Twice plans to continue its heat in Melbourne, Australia in November, Nagoya, Japan in December, Jakarta, Indonesia, Mexico City, Mexico in February 2024, and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
