Kep1er Releases Colorful "Galileo" M/V

Before long, project girl group Kep1er, which has about 10 months left in their contract, has returned with its fifth mini-album. Attention is focusing on whether they will be able to continue their popularity with their new song "Galileo" and face the magical moment of extending their activities.



Kep1er held a showcase for their fifth mini-album "Magic Hour" at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 25th. On this day, the members expressed their feelings about their comeback, saying, "I want to receive more love with the new song 'Galileo' and make magical moments for those who listen to the song."

The comeback comes about five months after the fourth mini-album "LOVESTRUCK!" in April. In the meantime, Kep1er, who held an arena tour in Japan and met with local fans, said, "We got a lot of strength from the fans who support us and prepared a new album."

"We had a lot of worries while preparing for the comeback." Kim Chae-hyun said, "I wanted to show a better performance than the last album. Kep1er thought about how to proceed, and we also studied the lyrics and vocals of each member."

The new album "Magic Hour" depicts a "magic moment" in which the whole world revolves around love. It tells the story of nine girls who will do what they want to do without hesitation, share their love to their heart's content, and have a moment that shines more than anyone else.

The title song "Galileo" is a disco punk genre song featuring a refreshing and groovy guitar riff. The lyrics include the process of observing and defining the feeling of love in the process and the other person that the girl who fell in love fatefully discovered.
Kim Chaehyun compared, "If we showed a chaotic appearance of falling in love with the title song of the last album 'Giddy', 'Galileo' expressed a girl who grows further and finds the definition of love."

"The previous songs have a fast rhythm, so if the members' charm passed quickly, you can see their facial expressions and gestures in detail in this song," she pointed out.

In addition, a total of five tracks are included in the album, including "The Door," which contains the shy heart of a girl who wants to go out of the world together by holding your hand through a medium called "Door," "Love on Lock," which depicts the imagination of wearing a lock that can never be released in the heart of her favorite partner, and "Tropical Light" and "TAPE," which are the unit songs that the nine members tried for the first time since their debut.

Regarding the unit song that will be released for the first time, the members said, "We want to show you the charm that I haven't shown as Kep1er." Choi Yu-jin said, "Some members have lovely charms and some members have hip vibes. "The unit song contained individual charms better," she explained.

Regarding the extension of the activity, the group Kep1er replied, "First of all, we want to focus on music activities."

Kep1er, formed through Mnet's "Girls Planet 999: Girl's Daejeon," is a project girl group with a duration of 2 years and 6 months. With 10 months left from their debut in January 2022, Wake One and Swing Entertainment recently announced that they have offered to extend their activities to each member agency, drawing attention from fans.

In relation to this, Choi Yu-jin said, "The fans who support and love us first. First of all, we want to focus on my music activities as we have done so far. The first thing to do is to show good performance. We worked hard on this album, so please look forward to it," she said with a cautious attitude.

Kep1er, whose performance is strong, has proven his sword-group dance numerically. Kep1er's average choreography error rate was 3.6%, according to an analysis by the original TVing "K-pop Generation." Kim Chae-yeon said, "We prepared harder for the group dance again this time," and Kim Da-yeon said, "I monitor a lot." She revealed the secret of the group dance, saying, "We share choreography videos in group chat rooms and give feedback often."
