Former MOMOLAND Daisy Reveals That Suing Mean Comments Are Included in an Idol's Expenses

When artists come under attack by people with malicious and harmful intent, fans would demand agencies to protect their artists by means of taking legal actions. However, it turns out, the process of taking legal actions may not be so easy, especially for idols coming from small and medium-sized companies.

Former MOMOLAND member Daisy recently sparked a discussion when she revealed, "one of the funnier things you see on the list of an idol's expenses is money for sueing mean comments LOL i literally told them to stop spending money there because i would rather not pay for that."

She added, "totally get the ppl saying well who else's money would it be coming from but like it would've been nice if there was an option to just not?"

Netizens commented:

  • Imagine screaming at companies to protect their artists and them getting more indebt in return...
  • Shouldn't be surprised that MLD would do something like this. I mean, they also added the costs of the group's survival show to their debt costs.
  • It is terms like these that make being an idol a scam.
  • interesting info for buddies because that explains why source music never posted about any legal action.
  • They charge idols...for sueing mean comments? You know what? I'm not suprised anymore. Everything is always in favor of the company somehow.
  • Yet it’s is something fans beg companies to do everyday and they putting it on their debt wild. Love industry spoiler Daisy.
  • Guess I’m in the minority that thinks suing over mean comments is a crazy thing to begin with.
  • oh bro so “X ent will take legal action” really just means “X idol paying his own lawyer to sue for defamation” right.. no wonder no one ever actually goes to court
  • little miss juicy WHAT…?
  • makes sense company don't care abt this things, no matter how much trucks were sent to their buildings.
  • i wonder how many idols feel like this while their fans are yelling at the company to sue everyone.
  • i doubt big companies make idols pay for this kind of stuff but who knows.
  • she needs to open a exposing the kpop industry channel.
  • I am never sending another mass email template again.
  • So maybe your fave's agency isn't suing because your fave isn't ready to part with money because of some groundless rumour.

As more people pay attention to Daisy's revelation, the former idol said, "i didn't know that was life changing information i really just thought it was funny my sincerist apologies to all the old men who manage young girls and boys i hope they accept my apology!"
