Introduction

MOMOLAND (Korean: 모모랜드; Japanese: モモランド) was a girl group formed by MLD Entertainment through the 2016 reality show Finding Momoland. The show's winners were Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy served as the original members and they debuted on November 10, 2016 with the extended play Welcome to MOMOLAND. In 2017, Momoland became a nine-member group when Daisy and Taeha joined as members.

On November 30, 2019, MLD Entertainment announced that both Taeha and Yeonwoo would be making a new start and leaving the group and Daisy was kicked out in 2020. The group currently consists of Ahin, Hyebin, Jane, JooE, Nancy, and Nayun. Yeonwoo had found herself as an actress while Taeha had signed with B. D. Entertainment (now known as INTER BD) and had opened her YouTube channel.

On January 27, 2023, MLD Entertainment announced the group departed from the label following the expiration of the members' contracts, which led to fans thinking that they had disbanded. However, JooE claimed they did not disband. Because of that claim, it is safe to say that the group is on hiatus to pursue solo activities and has not found a company to promote as a group yet.
