N.Y.C.T is the eighth release from NCT LAB and features an R&B pop sound. The R&B pop song "N.Y.C.T" features guitar, bass, brass, and piano melodies and sweet vocals by Taeil and Haechan, creating a romantic atmosphere.

In addition, the two members participated in writing and composing the song, adding to the specialty as it is a song that expresses their gratitude to fans.

Meanwhile, NCT U recently held their comeback with "Baggy Jeans" as part of the NCT 2023's 'Golden Age' promotions.
