Zico & BLACKPINK's Jennie Release Exciting "SPOT!" Music Video

Singer Zico is finally back.



Zico posted its new song "SPOT! Feat. BLACKPINK's JENNIE" music video on HYBE Labels' official YouTube channel at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. In the video, Zico sings while making eye contact with Jennie and enjoys a late-night drive, showing an unvarnished "intimate vibe." The two create a hip atmosphere just by their presence without any special effects.

Zico picked "Intuitive Excitement" as the charm point of "Spot!" which can also be felt in the music video. Regardless of where he is at, such as a studio, a soccer field, a parking lot, or a night street, Zico dances with his friends and unleashes intense rapping. His performance of his own music with a microphone in his hand makes viewers excited. In particular, the group dance with dozens of dancers at the end of the video is short, but it is highly addictive, giving a foreboding to the trend of the short-form dance challenge.

"Spot!" was an early encounter between "Music powerhouse" Zico and Jennie. The song, which depicts the unvarnished moments of two friends who accidentally met at a party late at night, catches the ears with the "Strange Combination" created by Zico and Jennie.

The chorus, which features Jennie's attractive tone, such as "we're not going home tonight, alright / party that wasn't in your plan," adds Zico's sensible punchline such as "JZ / We Gon's run this town, that's crazy" to give listeners fun to listen to.

"Spot!" is Zico's first solo song this year. It is his first official comeback in a year and nine months. Zico will be actively promoting music, broadcasting and new media starting with the release of his new song.

KBS2's "The Seasons - Zico's Artist" will air for the first time at 10 p.m. on the day of the new song's release. Zico will unveil its new song "Spot!" for the first time on the show.
