Actress Jisoo is making a comeback through Coupang Play's highly-awaited zombie drama "Newtopia."
On August 1st, Coupang Play released the first still cuts for the drama "Newtopia," confirming the casting of Park Jung Min (The 8 Show, Hellbound) and BLACKPINK's Jisoo (Snowdrop) as lead actors.
"Newtopia" will tell the story of lovers Jae-yoon and Young-joo, who fights to find each other in the midst of a zombie outbreak. Park Jung Min will play the role of Lee Jae-yoon, a soldier anxious for the future. Meanwhile, Jisoo will portray Kang Young-joo, a new employee whose popularity earned her the nickname 'goddess' in an engineering school.

Directed by Yoon Sung Hyun, the story of "Newtopia" is written by Han Jin Won, who drew attention after winning the Best Screenplay Award at the American Academy Awards for the highly-acclaimed movie "Parasite."
"Newtopia" is set to be released in 2025.
