BLACKPINK 's Lisa recently sat down with Elle Magazine for an interview, where she talked about her solo endeavors after leaving YG Entertainment and other memorable experiences so far.
With Lisa's acting debut being one of her most highly-awaited activities, they discussed how the superstar felt when she bagged a role in the upcoming third season of the award-winning social satire drama, "The White Lotus", which is directed by Mike White and is set in Thailand for its third season.
“I think I cried. I was with my friends, my mom’s friends, and my mom as well, but I didn’t tell them that I auditioned for it. I’m super excited and nervous, because it’s my first acting project. So I was happy for a second, and then I was like, ‘Oh, wait, wait, how am I going to deliver this?’” the BLACKPINK member expressed, and even gushed over the director, "Mike White? I think he’s a genius,”
"It’s pretty new to me, but I think it’s similar to shooting music videos...I’m excited for my fans to see it," Lisa teased, adding, “I feel like people are going to fall in love with Thailand even more.”
As of writing, there's currently no estimated date of airing for "The White Lotus" season 3 just yet.
