NCT's Renjun Apologizes For Revealing Wrong Phone Number

Renjun, a member of the group NCT, apologized after revealing the wrong phone number because he misunderstood it as a sasaeng number.

"I apologize to the person who was hurt by the rash actions I made yesterday," Renjun wrote on Instagram on the 21st. "I always wanted to give good energy with music and stage, but I think I made the wrong choice because my judgment was blurred a lot. I sincerely apologize to the person who was hurt and damaged because of me."

"The victim is suffering because of my reckless behavior. Please stop contacting the victim," he said. "I am reflecting a lot, and I will be careful not to do such a hasty act in the future. I am sorry again to everyone who has been hurt by me."

Meanwhile, fans have shared their favorite gifs and photos of the artist hoping that he feels better after the rough year he has gone through

Renjun stopped his activities in April due to his poor condition and anxiety. He said he is suffering from malicious messages and comments from sasaeng fans. On the previous day, he revealed the entire phone number of an ordinary person on Bubble, a fan communication platform. He said, "Stop calling me. I'm revealing this person's number." When a call was made to an unknown number, he saw it as an act of sasaeng fan. The owner of this number asked Renjun for an apology through SNS, saying they were suffering from unwanted phone calls and texts.

"Right after receiving the call that the victim visited a local police station and inquired, we apologized and took measures to delete the post," the agency SM Entertainment said. "Renjun is deeply reflecting on and repenting for his reckless behavior. We deeply apologize for the lack of management of artists."
