TXT Break Own Previous Record With "SANCTUARY"

TXT has surpassed its previous record (record sales for a week based on the release date) with its 7th mini album.

According to Hanteo Chart, a record sales aggregation site on the 11th, TXT's 7th mini album "The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY" topped the weekly music chart, selling a total of 1,579,339 copies. This figure exceeds the initial (1.546,433 copies) of its previous 6th mini album "minisode 3: TOMORROW," showing the solid popularity of TXT.

The 7th mini album has already surpassed 1.21 million sales on the day of its release (4th), winning the title of "initial million seller." Including the new album, five albums, including "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" in 2022, "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION" in 2023, and "The Name Chapter: FREEFALL" in 2024, exceeded 1 million sales in the first week of its release, achieving five consecutive initial million sellers.

TXT started to gain popularity by ranking in the top three music charts in Korea. The title song "Over the Moon" entered Genie's real-time chart at 82nd (7 p.m. on the 4th) and ranked third at 1 a.m. on the 10th. It also ranked third on the real-time Bugs chart and remains in the top 100 Melon real-time chart.

The sales are strong in Japan as well. Within two days of its release in Japan, 277,000 copies were sold, far exceeding the previous weekly sales (174,000 copies). "The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY" topped Apple Music's "Top Album" and iTunes' "Top Album" chart, while "Over The Moon" remained on top of Line Music's daily song chart (November 7-9). The music video for "Over The Moon" has been on top of Japan's YouTube channel for several days.

TXT will run the pop-up store "TXT: The Star Chapter" POP-UP STORE" to commemorate the release of the new album until the 13th at iKONIC Square on the 2nd basement floor of The Hyundai Seoul. The pop-up is based on the concept of "ANGEL".
