Jennie Shares Her Pretty Girl 'Mantra' In New MV

K-pop's 'It Girl' Jennie has shared her empowering anthem for all the pretty girls with the release of her 'Mantra' music video.

On October 11, the BLACKPINK member simultaneously released her new digital single along with its vibrant music video. 'Mantra' is an upbeat song that empowers everyone to shine in their own ways and confidently embrace their own unique charms. The song screams girl power and confidence, sharing the message of individuality, self-love, and mutual support.

In a statement released by Jennie's agency, Odd Atelier, she says, This song is perfect for starting a new era. I believe it will make fans happy and show a new side of me as a solo artist. I recorded it in Los Angeles, and I hope people feel the positive energy.

Odd Atelier has partnered with Columbia Records, featuring some of the industry's big names to bring Jennie's highly-anticipated return to completion. 'Mantra' is produced by Jumpa and El Guincho, while the music video is directed by Tanu Muino, who is known for her previous works with Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, and BTS Jungkook.

'Mantra' is already receiving a lot of love from fans, particularly from the foreign media — with Rolling Stones and Vogue going all-in with their enthusiastic praises for Jennie's release. This kicks off an exciting era in Jennie's solo career, showcasing her growth as an artist and performer. Expectations are high for Jennie's next move and how her comeback will impact the industry.

- Jennie-yah!!!!!!!!!!
- The song was crazy ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ She looks like a pop star
- The song is good but why did it feel so short? ㅠㅠ
- Jennie-yah, this was crazy
- She picked it well ㅋㅋㅋ But the song is too short, it was 2 min 17 sec
- The song was shockingly good, I'm shocked
- It was better than I thought
- At first, I felt like it was short and was like "huh?" but it was addictive so I kept replaying it
- It entered Melon's TOP 100 at #41. For a song that came out at 9AM + all English lyrics, it's pretty legendary
- Exceeded my expectations

Meanwhile, Jennie will perform 'Mantra' on the famous American late-night talk show 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' next week. She will also be present in various Korean music shows to promote her new single.
