Introduction

W!TCHX, formerly known as WiTCHES, is a five-member upcoming South Korean girl group under Inmedia and Inter B.D Entertainment.

The group first started appearing on Inmedia's website sometime in 2019, but there was no official informations about them shared until 2022.

On March 11, 2022, WiTCHES made their first ever public appearance at Expo 2020 Dubai concert, announcing their group name and lineup, consisting of Bella, Aya, Mago, and Mari. However, the SNS posts with the original lineup were deleted on April 3, 2022 and replaced by posts featuring the new lineup, confirming Bella had left the group, and introducing a new member, Mina.

In June 2022, they announced their debut for July 2022, as well as a new member which was seen with them. The new member was confirmed a few weeks later to be Bella (the same stage name as a previous member). Their fandom name was also revealed to be Switch.

Their debut didn’t happen in July 2022, as it was announced on December 17, 2022, that WiTCHES will make their debut in 2023. The same month, Mina was announced to have left the group.

In January 2023, WiTCHES announced two new members: Rucia (which was the same person as the second Bella), and Seohyun, which was confirmed on April 19, 2023, to go by the stage name Mew.

A new member was then added again on May 13, 2023, named Minju. However, in June 2023, Minju, along with Aya, were removed from the group's Instagram bio, confirming that the two had left the group.

On June 13, 2023, WiTCHES introduced two new members to the group: Rucia, revealed for the third time in the group, under the stage name Lucia this time, and Niaa.

On June 27, 2023, WiTCHES performed with a guest member, Rika, during the 2023 GBC International.

On August 8, 2023, the group name was changed to WiTCHX. They were also added to Inter B.D Entertainment’s website on September 2023.

On January 9, 2024, it was announced that their debut, which was supposed to happen in 2023, would be in March. However, on March 8, Mari shared that their debut had been delayed for a month. Still, in April, the group hadn’t released any news about their debut date.

W!TCHX released official profile photo on August 26, 2024, hinting at a potential debut before the end of the year, with the current lineup being Lucia, Mago, Mari, Niaa, and Mew.
