Jiyeon

Introduction

Jiyeon is a South Korean Singer and Actress and best known as a member of the girl group T-ARA and its sub-unit T-ARA N4. She debuted as a member of T-ARA on July 23, 2009 with the single "Lie".

In May 2014, she made her solo debut with "Never Ever". Her contract with MBK Entertainment ended in December 2017 and fellow member Hyomin announced on her Instagram account that Qri, Eunjung, Jiyeon would leave the company. She is now focused on her career as a solo artist.

On October 7, 2020, it was announced that actress Jiyeon would star in a new web drama called “ Next Door Witch J" as the role of Seo Je Yi as a beauty creator. In that same month of 2020, the news had been revealed that the actress will star another TV series called Imitation alongside Jung Ji-so, Lee Jun-young, Jeong Yun-ho which aired on KBS2 in the first half of 2021

In December of 2022 Jiyeon married baseball player Hwang Jaegyun. Almost two years later, on October 6, 2024, Jiyeon's legal representative announced that she and Jaegyun had mutually decided to file for divorce after living separately due to an unresolved dispute between the two of them.
