Minzy

Introduction

Gong Min-ji, popularly known as Minzy, is a South Korean singer. She rose to fame after debuting as the youngest member of the girl group 2NE1. Besides music activities, Minzy also actively participates in variety shows such as "Unnie's Slam Dunk" in 2016, which made her a member of the project girl group Unnies.

On April 5, 2016, Minzy announced her departure from 2NE1 and it's management company, YG Entertainment. As a result, she didn't participate in the group's final song, "Goodbye", which was released on January 21, 2017.

After leaving 2NE1, Minzy focused on solo activities and eventually made a solo debut with her first mini album, Minzy Work 01 Uno. Despite of this, she remained present in 2NE1's post-disbandment gatherings over the years, and even made a guest appearance at the 2022 Coachella for CL's stage performance together with Bom and Dara.

In July 2024, fans were in for a surprise when YG Entertainment announced 2NE1's official reunion through a concert series from October to December in the same year.
