On June 15th, Urban Works Entertainment confirmed that former IZ*ONE member Minju was cast in the upcoming webtoon-based historical drama "The Forbidden Marriage" also known as "Golden Spirit, Joseon Marriage Ban." She will be playing the role of a lovely and good-natured crown princess bound for a tragic fate.
Minju joins the cast which includes Park Joohyun (Extracurricular), Kim Young Dae (The Penthouse, Sh**ting Stars), Kim Wooseok (Rookie Cops), and first-time actor Giriboy.
"The Forbidden Marriage" is set to air on the second half of the year.
