ATEEZ’s Jongho to Undergo Surgery and Take Hiatus Following Injury

On the 26th, KQ Entertainment announced on their website that Jongho from ATEEZ had to halt his overseas schedule due to conservative treatment and recovery from a half-moon cartilage rupture and sought help from a specialized medical institution.

The agency explained that Jongho was recommended for surgery and intensive management based on a thorough examination. For now, the ATEEZ schedule will be performed by seven members except Jongho, who will undergo rehabilitation.

They asked for fans' understanding of Jongho's need to recover quickly and will inform them of the schedule's resumption in the future.

ATEEZ is on its first South American tour, "The Fellowship: Break the Wall," in Latin America. They will visit four cities: Mexico City on the 23rd, Sao Paulo on the 26th, Santiago on the 30th, and Bogota on September 3rd to meet local fans.

Hello,
This is KQ Entertainment.

Please read the following notice regarding ATEEZ member JONGHO’s health condition and status for future schedules.

While JONGHO was undergoing conservative treatment and recovery for a ‘meniscus rupture,’ it was determined that detailed examination and additional measures were necessary. As a result, JONGHO immediately stopped his overseas schedules and returned to Korea to receive treatment at a specialized medical institution.

After a thorough examination, JONGHO was recommended to undergo surgery and receive intensive management for the existing injured area. As a result, ATEEZ will continue with seven members for upcoming schedules while JONGHO undergoes rehabilitation after the surgery.

We ask for your understanding regarding the decision to prioritize JONGHO’s prompt recovery, and we will update you once he is ready to return to the group’s schedule.

Thank you.

Let's extend our good wishes for a quick recovery to Jongho!
