ATTRAKT Sues Former FIFTY FIFTY Members and Ahn Sung Il for Damages Worth Billions of Won

ATTRAKT reveals that they have filed civil lawsuits against the three former members of FIFTY FIFTY, as well the people who the agency says aided the three in violating their exclusive contracts.

According to ATTRAKT on December 19th, "We filed a civil lawsuit against the three former members of FIFTY FIFTY, Saena, Sio, and Aran, who violated the exclusive contract, and the people who actively participated in the unfair destruction of the exclusive contract, the members' parents, Ahn Sung Il, and Baek Jin Sil."

Korean media outlets estimate that the damages and penalties could amount to ten billions of won. Park Jae-hyun, a lawyer representing the lawsuit, said, "We will do our best to carry out the lawsuit, keeping in mind that it can be an important opportunity to establish a fair trade order in the entertainment sector beyond just recovering from damage."

In June of this year, trending girl group FIFTY FIFTY filed a request for provisional injunction to suspend the exclusive contracts with their agency ATTRAKT due to unclear settlement, lack of support, and broken mutual trust. However, this was rejected by the court. As the members continued their legal battle by filing appeals, member Keena withdrew hers and returned to ATTRAKT, claiming that they were manipulated by figures, such as The Givers CEO Ahn Sung Il. Following this, in October, ATTRAKT announced the end of their exclusive contract with Saena, Sio, Aran.
