“The Standards for Producing Their Songs Are Very High” – Korean Fans of BLACKPINK Disappointed That They Only Released 40 Songs 7 Years After Debut

Some of their fellow netizens pointed out that the standards for producing BLACKPINK's songs are very high, hence they can't do comebacks regularly. Still, knowing that rookie idol groups who debuted much later than BLACKPINK had more songs than them, they expressed their wishes to hear more songs from the group.

Korean netizens commented:

  • Including collaboration songs, featuring, and solos?
    • It's too little...
  • Then it's about 5 songs a year, really?
  • Wow it's really small
  • Wow, honestly, I think it should be 100 songs...
  • Their songs are good, please release more
  • Because they rarely do comebacks
  • It's really few, but the quality of each song is good. The standards for producing their songs are very high.
  • Wow, I recently saw groups that released 48 albums with similar years in the industry
  • It's because they haven't been active much... but it's amazing that they have a career like that
  • YG is really... I didn’t say anything
  • Wow, but the recognition... is amazing
  • That's right. They'll have to do comebacks often, but the company seems to be lazy, so they will only make them perform at concerts
  • No, it’s too much. Please make Blackpink comebacks more often.
  • I said 40 songs a few years ago, but it's still the same??? Small and medium-sized female idol groups that debuted later than Blackpink have over 130 songs.
