Jisoo Is the First Female Kpop Soloist to Surpass 1 Million Pre-Orders

On March 28th, according to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK Jisoo's debut solo album "ME" exceeded 1.24 million sales in just three weeks (as of March 27th) after pre-orders began on the 6th. This is the highest figure ever for a single album by a Kpop female solo artist.

"ME" has already set a new record in the category, exceeding 510,000 copies in two days after the start of pre-sale and 950,000 copies in two weeks (as of March 20th). As the trend continues to rise, the final tally is expected to increase further.

Purchase requests were active not only in Korea but also in North America, Europe, China, Japan, and Southeast Asia. This outstanding achievement only proves the immense popularity of BLACKPINK worldwide.

Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, who started as solo artists before Jisoo, set new records in album sales, YouTube views, and global charts—setting meaningful milestones in Kpop. Attention is focused on the new history that Jisoo will write through "ME," including becoming a million-seller artist.

Jisoo will release her first solo album, "ME," on March 31st at 1 PM KST. The title song, "FLOWER," and the b-side song, "All Eyes On Me," were recorded, and the music video was filmed all over the world with the largest production cost ever in Blackpink's history.
