Wheein expressed her sadness during the broadcast that the final live broadcast of the special DJ program that has been running for the past two weeks will end. She also surprised listeners by revealing the new album's release date, which will be on October 12th.
At Wheein’s explosive remarks, numerous messages from listeners worldwide who were enthusiastic about her comeback, such as "a big hit" and "I'm waiting for your comeback date," poured out in the chat window.
In response, her agency, THE L1VE said, “As this is her first full-length album, Wheein’s participation and contribution are high. “You will be able to fully feel Wheein’s attractive voice and diverse emotions through songs with a wider musical spectrum and depth of character.” they also said, “We plan to delight the public’s eyes and ears with a unique concept that has never been shown before.
“As this is an album we have been preparing for a long time, we ask for your much anticipation and love,” the agency said, raising expectations.
Wheein is set to release a new album for the first time in about a year and a half, following her special single "D-Day," released in April of last year. After successfully concluding her first solo fan meeting, also titled "D-Day," Wheein has been actively participating in group activities, drama OST, and featuring in various fields.
In particular, Wheein's second mini album, "WHEE," released in January last year, proved its global popularity by ranking first in 18 overseas countries and regions, including Brazil, Hong Kong, Mexico, and Romania, and the title song "Make Me Happy" ranked first in the iTunes top song chart.
