On November 15, SM Entertainment shared some good news — Seunghan will be making his debut as a solo artist in 2025.

According to SMTOWN Global's X account, the former RIIZE member is currently preparing hard for his debut and will kick off his solo activities in the second half of 2025. Along with the official announcement of Seunghan's solo debut, his official social media accounts as a solo artist have been launched as well.

We would like to share an announcement regarding our artist, Seunghan.
Seunghan is currently preparing to debut as a solo artist in the second half of 2025, and is receiving full support and guidance across several aspects considered essential for a solo debut including systemized training, producing, management, and more.
Moving forward, updates on Seunghan will be shared via his official social accounts which launched today (15th, KST).
Seunghan is determined to showcase a new side of himself as he embarks on his journey as a solo artist and carries out his talents and dreams.
We kindly ask for your warm support and attention as he begins this new chapter.

Previously, Seunghan was announced to return after almost a year of hiatus but due to fans' overwhelming negative responses, the decision was reversed and he decided to leave the group. Since then, fans who have supported Seunghan have been actively protesting in hopes of getting him back to the group.

With the news of Seunghan's upcoming solo debut, many fans expressed varying opinions on social media. While most are excited about his return as an idol, many fans are still disappointed with SM Entertainment's way of handling the RIIZE issue.
