Kwon Eunbi was recently dubbed by fans as the "Hot Summer Queen" for her spectacular performances at multiple Waterbomb festivals.
While the response she got from the festivals was overwhelmingly positive, some Korean fans are now calling out her company for her overly provocative outfits.
Aside from that, they also expressed concern about Eunbi's well-being as she was sexualized by some netizens.
Meanwhile, some Korean fans were supportive and defended her, stating that her outfit was rather normal for female idols.
Korean netizens commented:
- A lot of female idols wear things like that, but only she seems to get criticized for being glamorous.
- It looks so dirty.
- But if you just look at the number of retweets, doesn't that mean it doesn't really resonate? Is everyone like that?
- Anyway, she's getting criticized for having a nice body. I'm a weirdo. I let her wear whatever she wants. She's not some kind of elementary school student, and she's turning 30 soon.
- I think it's because she has a good body...
- But the clothes are not pretty...
- If they are not going to change the styling, I'll have to file a hard complaint... but there's no notice about suing that company?
- Ahㅠㅠ...I understand the fans' feelings...I support the lawsuit....
- First of all, it's not pretty, it's exposed, and so on.
- It seems like the company keeps dressing her like that because of the response that she got during Waterbomb, but fans are likely to be dissatisfied with her styling due to sexual harassment.
- And it doesn't matter if she's wearing something pretty, but it seems like it's because the outfit itself isn't very pretty.
- I like Eunbi, but I wish she would wear something a little less revealing. It's also annoying to hear stories of sexual harassment.
