BLACKPINK's Jennie Teases Solo Comeback in a Magazine Interview

BLACKPINK’s Jennie has boosted expectations for her solo comeback.

Jennie of BLACKPINK recently graced the cover of the May issue of the fashion magazine Vogue Korea and drew attention by revealing a spoiler about her new album.

Jennie revealed that she wants to release her first solo full-length album this year. She said, "I'm devoting almost all my time daily to making music. I don't notice time passing. I'm working hard with a desire to share my music with more people and a bolder ambition, so please look forward to it."

It will be almost a year since Jennie established the independent label ‘ODD ATELIER’ and anchored her individual activities.

As the CEO, she shares, "Whenever a new idea comes to mind, everyone should share it immediately. And everyone should work happily in their respective positions. I believe that if these two things are met, good synergy will arise. Good synergy creates something new that attracts attention."

Even though she is at the peak of her career as a girl group member, Jennie’s passion for her job is no different from when she first debuted. Jennie also said in a pictorial interview, "I have been active in many fields since my debut, but as a singer, my desire to communicate with fans through music has always been my top priority."

In addition, Jennie is raising expectations by participating as a feature in Zico's new song ‘SPOT! (feat. JENNIE)' commemorating Zico's 10th anniversary, which will be released on the 26th.
