aespa’s Karina and Lee Jaewook have broken up five weeks after they publicly admitted to dating.
According to a statement released by Lee Jaewook’s agency, CJes Studios, “Lee wants to focus on acting at the moment. The two have agreed to remain co-workers who support each other.
SM Entertainment, Karina’s agency, also confirmed the split but did not specify a reason.
Karina and Lee Jaewook’s relationship was surrounded by issues from the start after many fans expressed their disappointment in the singer. Karina even made a public apology through a handwritten letter, which gained global media attention.
