Yuqi, a Chinese member of the group (G)I-DLE, has put her first solo album on the half-million seller list.
According to the agency Cube Entertainment and Hanteo Chart, a record sales website, on the 29th, Yuqi's first mini-album "Yuq1" released on the 23rd recorded 550,170 copies in its first six days (a week's record sales based on the release date).
Cube said, "This is the third-highest record of all-time K-pop female solo singers based on the Hanteo Chart."

"Yuq1" has been making a big hit on music charts as well. All of its tracks, including the title track "FREAK," have topped the charts on iTunes Top Albums chart in six countries and regions including Russia, Chile, and Hong Kong, and iTunes Top K-Pop Albums chart in 15 countries and regions including the U.S., the U.K., and Germany. The number of views for the "FREAK" music video surpassed 10 million in just four days after its release.
This album is Yuqi's first solo album in more than six years since she debuted as (G)I-DLE. Yuqi will continue her solo career for the time being, appearing on Mnet's "M Countdown" on the 2nd of next month.
