Singer Jeon Somi, who just started a cosmetics business, drew attention by introducing highlighters that have recently been embroiled in a controversy over high prices.
On the 4th, Jeon Somi appeared as a guest on the web show "LeoJ Makeup," run by beauty creator LeoJ.
In the episode, LeoJ said, "I saw on TikTok that Somi is making highlighters. Did you make all of them yourself? Did you just use the name?" Somi responded, "No, I'm not just the boss. I really researched it."
When asked by LeoJ, "Why did you make a highlighter?" She replied, "I don't think there was a perfect highlighter in my eyes." Somi also said, "It was too cumbersome because I always mixed two or three colors," adding, "I had a meeting with several idol friends at home because I thought, 'Is it just me?' But everyone uses two or three like me."
The singer went on to clarify, "I even packed the wrappers." Somi also pointed the drawing on the packaging and proudly said, "I also drew this when I was in elementary school."
Jeon Somi emphasized again that she participated in the creation, saying, "I paid attention to the color while checking the number of grams, even the smallest pearl."
